When you’re juggling shoots, rehearsals, workshops, and Q&As, it’s easy to lose track of dates. MriiaFilms lets you subscribe to your production calendar so all your events appear automatically in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any app that supports ICS feeds.
Once subscribed, any new event you add in MriiaFilms (from any project) will show up in your personal calendar without you having to create it twice.
What “Subscribe to Calendar” Does
The Subscribe to Calendar option generates a unique ICS feed URL linked to your MriiaFilms account.
It includes events from all your projects (screenings, rehearsals, workshops, talks, etc.).
Your external calendar reads this feed and displays those events alongside your personal schedule.
When you update or add events in MriiaFilms, your calendar updates automatically on the next refresh.
This is a one-time setup: once you subscribe, you don’t need to re-add events manually.
How to Get Your Subscription URL in MriiaFilms
🟢 Go to your Calendar section in MriiaFilms. 🟢 Click on Subscribe to Calendar. 🟢 Copy the Subscription URL that appears on the screen. 🟢 Keep this URL private; it is unique to your account. You’ll use this URL in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any other ICS-compatible app.
How to Add MriiaFilms Calendar to Google Calendar
Follow these steps to see all your MriiaFilms production events in Google Calendar:
📌 Copy the Subscription URL from MriiaFilms. 📌 Click the “Open Google Calendar” button in MriiaFilms (or open Google Calendar in your browser). 📌 In Google Calendar, on the left side, click “Other calendars” → “From URL”. 📌 Paste your Subscription URL into the “URL of calendar” field. 📌 Click “Add calendar”.
Your MriiaFilms events will now appear as a separate calendar in Google Calendar, with its own color so you can easily distinguish it from your personal events.
How Often Does Google Calendar Update? Google Calendar automatically refreshes subscribed calendars every few hours.
If you add or change an event in MriiaFilms, it may take a little time before it appears or updates in Google Calendar.
This is normal behavior for subscribed ICS feeds; there is no manual “force refresh” option in Google Calendar.
